Many of our current clients are already successfully retired. They continue the lifestyle and standard of living established in their pre-retirement years. They generally travel more and spend more time with their extended families. Although health issues are common, the bills get paid.
Sound good? The road to such success is more challenging than ever. The good and bad news is that we live longer than previous generations. Saving for the future is more difficult. With needs and wants growing exponentially, as a nation, we save nothing.
From observing the success stories, we find the common threads are habits of consistent saving no matter how small, disdain for unnecessary debt, and the maintenance of a lifestyle that is reasonably sustainable after paychecks cease.
